Meghan McCain appeared on "The Wendy Williams Show" on Monday and further discussed her recent support for legalizing marijuana, opened up about her Playboy interview, and had some harsh words for Sarah Jessica Parker.
Last week, McCain announced her support for legalizing marijuana during an appearance on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno." She also admitted to smoking a joint.
McCain told Williams that she smokes marijuana on occasion. "It's not a regular thing," McCain said. "All of a sudden, I'm like Snoop Dog. I have all these people tweeting me going, 'I wanna get high with you!'"
McCain echoed her previous comments on the topic, citing her time living in Los Angeles as contributing to her decision. "Everyone smokes weed everywhere all the time in Los Angeles...and I was just shocked at basically the parallels between prohibition in the [19]20s and marijuana now," she said.
Williams also asked McCain about her recent interview with Playboy magazine. "I did Playboy's '20 Questions,' and Chris Wallace had done it. He's a very serious political host, and I was like, 'Oh, this should be fine!'" McCain said. "And then I did it, and it exploded all over the Internet and I was totally embarrassed." She added, "It was the worst photo shoot I ever did. I hate the picture. It was a disaster."
As Williams steered the conversation to discussing the 2012 presidential election, she brought up the ad Sarah Jessica Parker released about the recent fundraiser she threw for President Obama. McCain called the ad "trashy."
"My problem with that ad is, I don't like calling the president 'my guy,'" McCain said. "He's' the president. I don't like reporters interrupting him in press conferences. This is the President of the United States of America. Don't refer to him as 'that guy.' I think it's kind of trashy."
